I remember what it feels like to be stuck, burned out, stressed, and exhausted, barely able to get through the days.

That was me just ten years ago. Now, as a health coach for six years and a busy mom of five, I rely on a fool proof approach to nutrition and wise supplementation to keep myself and my kids healthy and thriving. I’ve studied over 100 dietary theories and spent years researching and experimenting with nutritional programs for myself and my clients.

Health Coaching Principles

I personally embrace and coach my clients toward better health by focusing on the following.

Intuitive Eating

This philosophy and approach to food can bring freedom to anyone who has battled with food dependence or cycles of dieting and restriction. Based on self-awareness and uncovering your body’s natural wisdom, intuitive eating has brought me and so many others greater peace and joy around food. I used this approach to tackle my own struggle with disordered eating in my younger years and obsessive exercise.

Mindful Movement

Movement can be and should be such a joy! But like all good things, it must be approach with balance and sensitivity so that you can develop habits of moving that you love. I am a life-long runner, but also enjoy yoga, weightlifting, and periods of rest and gentle stretching in postpartum times. I’ve helped many clients find small ways to incorporate more mindful, joyful movement into their busy schedules.

Rest and Stress Relief

Ah, our busy modern world. The stresses and pressure of today keep our brains and bodies wired in a constant state of arousal and alarm which takes a significant toll on our health over time. In my health coaching, I focus on helping clients heal their nervous systems, finding real ways to rest, enjoy leisure, and remember that they are valuable and loved for who they are, not what they can do or accomplish.

True vitality, health, and deep self-care is so much more than what’s on your plate or what you eat and how often you exercise. It’s also your mental patterns, your daily habits, your passion and connection to your work, the balance that you create for yourself of work, life, family & service.
